Our jury member, Remzi Boncuk, graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Econometrics in 1986. In 1989, he completed his master's degree in Uludağ University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Statistics.
He worked as a senior manager and consultant in the fields of production, production planning and strategic planning in the natural stone industry. He served as the and Assembly Member and Board member of Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce, Head of Balıkesir Branch of the International Young Entrepreneurs and Leaders Association (JCI), and as the President of Balıkesirspor Club for a period.
In 1993, he took part in many successful natural stone projects in Türkiye and abroad with the company Çizgi Mermer & Granit, of which he was the founding partner and manager. He pioneered the use of advanced technology in the natural stone sector.
Since 2014, he has been serving as a member of the Supervisory Board of Aegean Minerals & Natural Stones Exporters' Association.
Remzi Boncuk has participated in many design competitions as a jury member.
