Adnan Serbest is known for his furniture and living spaces designs. He started his career as a furniture maker like his father and grandfather. He gave lectures and organized workshops at local and foreign universities. He won 5 awards at the Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards in 2005 and never participated in design competitions again with the motto "Young designers should get the awards".
Adnan Serbest is a design critic and curator, organizes many design competitions and advises many professional associations, and his works have been exhibited in Berlin, Guggenheim and Austrian Royal museums.
